Join us from January 19th-21st, 2024 at Rice University for the sixth annual Rice Datathon! Datathon is an exciting event for students across Houston to compete in engaging 36-hour data science challenges, network with companies and peers, and explore the wonderful world of data science!

What's a Datathon?

A datathon is a multi-day event for data science enthusiasts to come together, learn, and compete in exciting data science challenges! There will be prizes for winning teams, opportunities to network, and lots of good food.

When and where is the Datathon?

Rice Datathon 2024 will take place January 19th-21st, 2024, on Rice University's campus.

Who can attend?

Undergraduate or graduate students in Houston are encouraged to attend this physical-first event. Students of all majors and schools of study are welcome.

When do registrations open?

Registration is open now! Fill out the registration form→ and join our mailing list→!

How much will it cost?

There is no cost for attending Rice Datathon! We'll provide the resources () for you to participate comfortably.

Is there an option to participate virtually?

Rice Datathon 2024 is a physical-first event and it is expected for attendees to participate in-person. Virtual accommodations will only be available for select events and sessions.
